Tough ex-cop Han Sing travels from Hong Kong to America to find justice for his brother, who was murdered in an ongoing battle between Chinese and African-American gangs. Han soon takes his brother's place in the war and becomes entangled in the violence, until he falls in love with Trish, the daughter of the rival gang's leader. Jet Li is in top form in this movie as he jumps, kicks, and flips with a quick and flawless grace of a dancer. Jet Li fight work and chemistry with costar Aaliyah makes this a very entertaining movie.

Very good movie, and true sadness in it all.

I really enjoy watching this movie, it is truly a very good movie. I must say that the true sadness is that Aaliyah died. I dont know about anyone else, I think this was one of her better movie roles. I really did not like her in Queen of the Damned. Jet Li is one of the true action stars of our time. I would almost rate him up there with Bruce Lee.

My nephew is a Jey Li fan, left up to him he would have all of Jet Li movies on dvd.

I purchased this movie only because I'm an admirer of Jet Li's ability to incorporate his martial arts skills into any genre of movie. There were some comical points in the movie but overall the plot was weak.

Good movie for Jet Li and/or chopsake fans

Nothing spectacular to add, just that the movie is fun to watch... especially Jet Li's fight scenes. Also a tribute to Aaliya - she showed promise. Plot was pretty tried and true - acting average to good. Fight scenes, not overly realistic but lots of fun!
If you missed out on this movie somehow... I recommend!
