Plot: This intermediate-level aerobics and toning combo seems to run a lot shorter than 43 minutes due to Donna Richardson's uptempo, fun-loving personality. After a quick five-minute warm up, Richardson and her two pals (one of them is Kelly Ryan, a noted fitness competitor) prance through 18 minutes of funky, thoroughly enjoyable aerobic activity. Then there's just enough time to grab a sturdy chair for the toning section -- 15 minutes of lunges, plies and leg extensions that hit the thigh and glute muscles from every angle (no additional equipment is needed). Then Richardson brings it to a close with a soothing, yoga-inspired cool down. She promises that if this video is done religiously three or four days a week, it will result in thinner thighs in 30 days. No doubt this is true, but it would be even better to give the legs a bit of variation by cross-training -- alternating this tape with other types of cardio activities and, perhaps, weight training. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
