Plot: Two generations of radical bikers face off in this rubber-burning action drama. Manuel Smoke Galloway (Laurence Fishburne) is the leader of the Black Knights, an underground motorcycle club. Smoke, like most of his fellow Knights, is a successful white collar worker who can afford fancy leathers and top quality bikes, and Smoke has earned a reputation as the King of Cali, willing take on anyone in a drag race, legal or no. Kid (Derek Luke) is a gifted young rider whose father was once Smoke's mechanic; when Kid's dad died after an accident, Kid set out to become the best biker he could be to carry on his father's name and reputation. Smoke, however, has no room in the Black Knights for Kid, and so he and several fellow outcast riders start their own club, the Biker Boyz, and challenge Smoke to prove once and for all who is the fastest rider on the scene. Biker Boyz also features appearances from Orlando Jones, Lisa Bonet, Djimon Hounsou, Larenz Tate, and Kid Rock. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

After a long time not seeing this film it"s still a classic

After not seeing this film for a number of years it"s still a great movie. Black people not acting like fools and the "N" word, which most people of all cultures think of us, is hard to find. I ride and I'm part of a club and yes we ride fast, the only diffience is most of us do it in traffic so this isn't hard to believe. It's a great movie that's not so far from being real you can't beleive it and has no negative images of black people which is rare.

Awful movie, waste of celuloid

It amazes me what some people in hollywood will put on film. This movie was just awful. I watched it one mornign on TV. Which is good. If I spent money to see htis ina theater I would have demanded my money back. The acting is horible, the race sequences are laughable, and the story is just plain dumb.

My son needed another one of this movie because he lost his and we couldn't find it at any of the stores around our home so I decided to look here. The movie came in great shape and my son loves it. This is his favorite movie! And since he's in a family with motorcycles, he is always on one of our bikes pretending to do tricks!!

Better than what I expected

I'm not a biker nor do I know anything about bikes but I will say that I enjoyed Biker Boyz. Biker Boyz is a little decent film that isn't half bad consdering how quickly it was made. The film which was shot under the direction of Reggie Blythewood in 45 days. The script could have used a bit more work but the performances of Fisburne and Luke really highlight the film. The film has some nice bike stunts and features other good actors such as Megan Good, Larenz Tate and Orlando Jones. Throw in cameos by Tearrance Howard and Eria LaSalle and you have a good way to waste a Saturday afternoon.
