Breaking Horizons

25-year-old Lara doesn’t know what she wants. Soon she’ll finish her studies of architecture in which she doesn’t have interest at all. She often goes clubbing with her friend Nora, but this is also no fun for her anymore. She would like to live another kind of life, but how? After feasting away the night, she becomes pregnant – initially she’s in doubt but then she starts to recognize the child as a chance. Having the feeling to do the right thing for the first time, she hurls herself into the adventure: I’ll become a mother. However her baby dies when she’s six months pregnant. She’s so afraid to lose the sense of her life which she has just found that she keeps the dead baby in the stomach and decides to still act the part of the pregnant woman for the surroundings.
