Cyril and Methodius: The Apostles of the Slavs

This story from the 9th century in stunning scenes depicts the beginnings of the spread of Christianity in Great Moravia and surrounding lands. The main characters this drama are missionaries Constantine (later known as Cyril) and his brother Methodius, who were proclaimed saints and are often referred to as the apostles of the Slavs. Their efforts constitute an important part of Czech history between the years 826 and 885.
