Santa Claus. Battle of the Magi (Russian: Дед Мороз. Битва магов, translit. Ded Moroz. Bitva magov) is a 2016 Russian fantasy film directed by Aleksandr Voytinskiy and producers of the tape are Georgiy Malkov, Vladimir Polyakov and Lev Karasev. The film about the girl Masha, who witnesses the battle of monsters with young magicians in the center of Moscow; one of the sorcerers saves the girl and leads her to a secret organization where she learns that Santa Claus truly does exist, and that the New Year is a real magical ritual. The film stars Taisiya Vilkova, with Nikita Volkov, Fyodor Bondarchuk, Aleksei Kravchenko, Egor Beroev, Kseniya Alfyorova, Sergey Badyuk, Irina Antonenko, Igor Chekhov and Filipp Gorenshteyn in supporting roles. The film will tell the story of an ordinary Russian schoolgirl who unwittingly takes part in the confrontation between the good wizard of Santa Claus and his evil wizard Karachun. Father Frost with the help of a powerful army supports the good mood of the inhabitants of the whole world during the New Year holidays, but because of the misdemeanor of one of the subjects of the wizard Karachun gets a chance to break the habitual course of history. The premiere of the film in Russia took place on December 24, 2016, will appear on Russian screens on the eve of the New Year 2017.
