Doraemon: Nobita and the Legend of the Sun King (ドラえもん のび太の太陽王伝説, Doraemon Nobita no Taiyōō Densetsu), also known as Doraemon And The Empire of the Sun, is a feature-length Doraemon film which premiered on March 4, 2000. It's the 21th Doraemon film. It was premiered together with the Doraemon movie Doki Doki Wildcat Engine (ドラえもんズ ドキドキ機関車大爆走!) and Doraemon: A Grandmother's Recollections. This film was a huge success at the box office, grossing around ¥3.42 billion ($32 million), becoming the highest grossing Doraemon film of the original series. The movie aired in India on 28 June 2014 on Disney Channel India and on 1 November 2014 on Hungama TV as Doraemon The Movie: Ye Bhi Tha Nobita Wo Bhi Tha Nobita-King of the Sun.
