Preparing for the wedding of his sister, Betty (Ava Gardner), to engineer Jack, Glimpy receives help from his gang -- especially leader Mugs, who helps them lie their way into getting a tuxedo and flowers. Prior to the wedding, Jack learns the neighbouring house to the one he's purchased is haunted and reluctantly decides to sell. Unaware, the boys hope to surprise the couple by decorating the home -- only to discover very strange happenings next door.
