Frank, 22, a student in Paris in a business school, returns to her parents time to a course he has to do in the factory where his father has worked for thirty years. After years of independence, Frank returns to his family to the delight of his father. At the factory, Frank is assigned to the Human Resources Department. With everything he learned in school, he believes a significant time to shake up the conservatism of management who is struggling to complete the negotiations on the reduction of working time. It puts a lot of enthusiasm to the task, until he discovers that his work serves as a screen for a restructuring plan providing for the dismissal of twelve people, including his father. Frank breaks with management communicates information to unions, which then trigger a strike. He wants his father is involved in this struggle, but one, who placed his pride in the social success of his son, refusing to join the movement. The violent confrontation that follows will clarify their relationship while returning each to its own history.
