Two fortysomething loners in Mexico City, Pilar (Ericka Ramírez) and Felipe (Antón Araiza), have struggled to find love and their place in the world. After striking up a friendly relationship, Felipe - tired of bumping into walls in matters of the heart -- decides not to waste any time and proposes. Caught off guard, Pilar steadfastly refuses and their relationship spins into a desperate - if not adventurous - new direction. It's during this time that Pilar is introduced to Felipe's most intimate mantra, one that has kept him afloat throughout his worst existential crises: a hypnotic discourse from an archaic '70s audio cassette program. Through reflection and reinterpretation, their relationship takes a new course in this theatrically-staged drama -- part romance, part road trip -- that invites viewers to think about their own definitions of loneliness and the true meaning of happiness.
