Bing Crosby stars alongside Gloria Jean in If I Had My Way , a musical comedy about taking responsibility when you least expect it! Buzz Blackwell (Crosby) is a construction worker finds himself taking care of Patricia, (Jean), the young daughter of a friend who dies in a tragic accident. Buzz and his co-worker, Axel, are faced with the task of going to New York with Patricia to find the remaining members of her family. Things go south when Axel spends the money set aside for Patricia on a floundering Swedish restaurant in a drunken state of mind. Buzz must suddenly think on his feet and come up with a plan to save the day!
