It Was an Accident

When he's released from prison, Nicky Burkett (Chiwetel Ejiofor) commits himself to a crime-free life. Despite his best efforts, he's dragged back into illicit activity when he intervenes in a robbery. He unintentionally starts a feud between two rival gangs, one headed by Mickey Cousins (Max Beesley), who ordered the robbery, the other by Rameez (Sidh Solanki). The gangsters try to rope Nicky into their illicit deeds, while he tries to pursue a policeman's daughter, Noreen (Thandie Newton).
