Enrico Oliveri (the brilliant Toni Servillo, European Best Actor award winner for The Great Beauty) is a seasoned politician who realizes that the decline of his party is inevitable. One night, he disappears, fleeing to Paris and finding peace in the home of his ex-girlfriend Danielle (Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi) while creating a real panic within the party. His top aide (Valerio Mastandrea) and his wife, decide to contact his twin brother, Giovanni, a genius philosopher suffering from bi-polar disorder and living in a psychiatric institution. The three of them elaborate a dangerous plan and what at first seems like a crazy scheme soon proves to be their only solution. A scathing critique of Italian political dynamics, Roberto Andò’s film is also a pulsating thriller with great comic moments that brings together some of the most talented actors working in Italy today.
