Brand New 4K Master! Screenwriter Joan Tewkesbury (Thieves Like Us, Nashville) made her directorial debut with this gripping and well-acted drama intelligently written by Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver) and Leonard Schrader (Blue Collar). Diane Cruise (Talia Shire, Rocky, in a riveting performance) is a woman whose life has shattered into a myriad of pieces after the dissolution of her marriage. She decides to delve into her past and seek out the men who marked the milestones of her life: Eric (John Belushi, The Blues Brothers), the high school sweetheart who ruined her reputation with lies, Jeff (Richard Jordan, Logan’s Run), the college lover she almost married and Wayne (Keith Carradine, The Long Riders), the unstable brother of her first real love. The stellar cast also includes John Houseman (My Bodyguard), Buck Henry (Candy), Gerrit Graham (Class Reunion) and P.J. Soles (Stripes). Two of the film’s finest features are the terrific cinematography by William A. Fraker (Rosemary’s Baby) and original musical score by David Shire (The Taking of Pelham One Two Three).
