Discover
Carol Gilbert’s dress shop is failing, she is facing bankruptcy and her husband is still away in the army awaiting a discharge. Finally news arrives of her husband’s return and Carol prepares a special champagne supper. Unfortunately, her husband turns up drunk and tired and immediately falls asleep. Carol, despite her annoyance, falls asleep also. She dreams of a romantic liaison with Jackson, their servant, after which he gives her some roses. Her husband awakes feeling guilty and places some roses on her pillow! When Carol awakes, she is convinced her dream must have been real!
