The Chinese investor Jonathan Pang buys in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern a disused military airport for the freight company Link Global Logistics, directly at the city Parchim in 2007. His plan: Make the small town into the international hub for air freight traffic between China, Europe and Africa and thus to make it the new center of globalization. But will his big projects really be realized? The reality is sobering, because the airport is in a very bad condition. While Pang's German consultant has to deal with bureaucratic obstacles, the Chinese businessman confidently travels the world to recruit partners for his project.
