Playground Chronicles

Brahim is a young boy living with his family near the crane manufacturing plant where his Moroccan father works. That seemingly immutable old crane feeds his imagination even in his dreams at night. This is a period full of novelties for the young Brahim He befriends Salvador, who tells Brahim of his native Chile, Pinochet, and his missing father. Brahim also discovers an old Kodak which spurs a love of photography. But one day the plant's owners announce they are relocating to the south of France. The factory closes and the family is forced to move.
