Santaan is a 1993 Bollywood drama film, produced by D. Ramanaidu under the Suresh Productions banner and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and cinematography by Chota K. Naidu ISC. It stars Jeetendra, Moushumi Chatterjee, Deepak Tijori, Neelam Kothari in pivotal roles and music composed by Anand-Milind. The film is remake of the Telugu movie Surigaadu (1992), starring Dasari Narayana Rao, Sujatha, Suresh, Yamuna in the lead roles. Both the movies are made by same banner and director, later remade as the Tamil movie Watchman Vadivel, with Sivakumar essaying the title role and Sujatha reprising her role from the Telugu original.
