The Ninth Guest is a 1934 Pre-Code murder mystery film starring Donald Cook and Genevieve Tobin as two of the eight guests at a deadly party who are informed by the voice of their unknown host from the radio that they are his enemies ... and will all meet his ninth guest: Death. The plot is similar to that of Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None, but is actually based on a 1930 book, The Invisible Host, and the play adapted from it, both of which predate Christie's work by nine years.
