Film 52 of the 59 movies on Mexican director Juan Bustillo Oro (1904-1988). Bustillo wanted to bring to life José Rubén Romero's famous novel La vida inútil de Pito Pérez (1938) in collaboration with is good friend and colleague Fernando de Fuentes as the producer and writer and incarnating the main character Germán Valdés “Tin Tan”
