In a tiny European nation, a baron has fathered twin sons —Anton and Gregor— but a local legend has it that one will someday kill the other, so Anton is sent into exile while Gregor remains. Decades later, Gregor has become a tyrant; sensing revolution in the air, he summons Anton back to take over. But is that really what he has in mind? Starring none other than Boris Karloff as the brothers and the beautiful Marian Marsh (Crime and Punishment) as the love interest. Directed by Roy William Neill, best known for the Sherlock Holmes 1940s classics, this gothic tale treads the line between horror and suspense while taking a page from Alexandre Dumas. Newly remastered.
