While there, they have a run-in with Yaxte (Ariel Award winner Ofelia Medina, Frida), a mysterious shape-shifting witch. Soon, the couple is beset by stray dogs, hallucinations, fevers, nightmares and earthly temptations, and a wedge is driven deep between them.
