The Last Concert

A washed-up piano player, Richard Lasky, is a drifter unable to find a job. Stella Glisset is a young girl on a mission--she hasn't much time, for she is very sick. She is trying to find her long-lost father before she dies. Richard and Stella meet on the Britanny coast, fall in love and together they revive Richard's career as a piano player. Stella finds her father, but doesn't actually meet him, because he is too involved with his new family. Stella becomes ill, but doesn't tell Richard; she leaves a note for him and goes to the hospital to die.Richard is devastated...and can not continue playing the piano.
