The Medusa Touch

Assigned to investigate the murder of novelist John Morlar in his London flat, Detective Brunel discovers that the man is still alive despite being savagely attacked. Brunel contacts Morlar’s psychiatrist in an attempt to learn more about the victim, uncovering a past involving Morlar, a belief in awesome telekinetic powers and a number of seemingly linked horrific disasters.
