A well-known scientist constructs a mechanically-operated ‘perfect’ woman, Olga. He has modelled her on his niece, Penelope, and asks a young man, Roger to take Olga out to prove she is indistinguishable from a normal woman. They book the bridal suite, but when Penelope herself hears of the outing she substitutes herself for Olga. Matters become further complicated when Roger’s aunt arrives, very unamused by this scandalous situation. The robot then arrives to add to the confusion.
