Discover
Following the huge success of The Scarlet Pimpernel, work began on this sequel two years later. This time Sir Percy (alias the Scarlet Pimpernel) is being pressured by his wife, Marguerite, to retire. But the French parties involved still want him caught, so set a trap for him to try and rescue a Spanish actress and her lover, Tallien (James Mason). Sir Percy is captured and his only hope is to attempt to disrupt the volatile political situation as a whole
