Udaya Geetham is a 1985 Indian Tamil language film directed by K. Rangaraj. The film stars Mohan, Lakshmi and Revathi in the lead, while Goundamani and Senthil appear in the comic subplot. The soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Udaya Geetham tells the story of a successful stage singer who is in jail for a murder he did not commit, and a young girl who believes his story, and promises to free him from prison. The film was released on 12 April 1985 and was a commercial success, running for 148 days in theatres and thereby becoming a silver jubilee film.
