Discover
This tragic true life epic is a story of deceit, deception, disappointment and terror. It is the story of 937 German Jewish refugees who left Nazi-occupied Germany, only to learn that nobody wanted them. The passengers are unaware the voyage is a sham and the ship will not be able to dock in Havana and, if the rest of the world turns the ship away, they will have to return to Germany. Just as hope has all but vanished the passengers receive word that Belgium, Holland, France and Britain have agreed to accept them and they will not have to return to Hamburg... or the camps.
