She was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and is best known for her role as Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless from 1997 to 1999, also she played Nichole Winters on The Rich and The Infamous from 2002 to 2004. Nelson played a role as Aliyah Farran in The Wolf of Wall Street.
