Tiny, awkward bathroom is made bigger by removing two closets that eat space and adding functional amenities and design elements. A deep, free standing soaker tub is added against a wall fashioned from corten steel with a rusted patina. Teakwood storage shelves between the vanities make for more storage and organization. The shower nearly doubles in size and incorporates hexagon tiles on the wall, accented by a racing stripe of vertical linear copper glass surrounding the top of the walls. Floating shelves descend from the ceiling, and the entire floor is decked out in 16x24 slabs of black slate tile. A one of a kind, artist-designed, floor to ceiling etched glass panel, lights up and gives the toilet area some privacy.
