Read recap of the previous night's performances Acoustic Week Continues It's Results Night, and the intimate ballroom-in-the-round is back for an encore. And speaking of encores, Jennifer and Derek were asked to reprise their Argentine Tango, which scored the first 10s of the season. Then Goo Goo Dolls played an uplugged medley of their biggest hits, with Chelsie and Dmitry dancing. The amazing night of music continued with Florence & The Machine performed "Dog Days are Over" in their first ever acoustic performance on U.S. television. And Macy's Stars of Dance blew us away with a performance from Forever Tango, the longest running tango show in Broadway history. Plus head judge Len Goodman explained — in a strictly disciplined classroom — what you need to do to earn a 10 on DWTS (as well as a 1, and everything in between). Pretty helpful info if you ask us. And, of course, someone was eliminated tonight. Tom pointed out at the beginning quite clearly that is wasn't any of the teams who scored in the top three last night. In fact, after some teams were declared safe and others in jeopardy, left standing under the red lights were the two teams with the lowest scores from last night: Mike & Karina and Bristol & Mark. And in the end, it was The Situation who couldn't overcome his 4's for technique and a 16 for perfomance, and he and Karina were eliminated. And as if that wasn't hard enough, now he has to face the wrath of Jimmy Kimmel. Design a Dance Tonight, Design a Dance added a new twist. You now have the chance to submit your concept for the ultimate dance: setting, wardrobe, props, everything. Check out the submission page and give us your creative vision!
