It was a night of Dynamic Duos as the seven remaining couples competed on Dancing with the Stars! Each of the couples took on the personae of a famous duo for the evening—everything from Batman & Robin to Adam & Eve—as they performed for the highest scores, and of course the most votes, to cement their place in the competion. But not everyone can be on stable ground, and while the couple with the highest score got immunity, the others had to go head-to-head in a dance-off. So who brought the house down and who just had to go home? Let's go to the scores! WEEK 8 SCORES:     Carrie Ann Len Julianne Bruno Total  Lea & Artem  8  8  8  8  32  Michael & Emma*  6  7  6  6  25  Janel & Val  10  10  10  10  43  Tommy & Peta  6  7  7  6  29  Sadie & Mark  9  9  10  10  38  Alfonso & Witney  10  9  9  10  41  Bethany & Derek  9  9  9  10  40 *eliminated this week • Hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews welcomed us back to the ballroom for a night of dynamic duos and intense competition before introducing our judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli! • Kicking off the night's routines, Lea Thomspon and Artem Chigvintsev took on the roles of Bonnie & Clyde for their Jazz routine. The two of them were looking to steal the show, but the judges didn't think they'd quite gotten away with it. • The judges were not kind to Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater during their last time out on the dance floor, but they were hoping their Foxtrot as Tarzan and Jane would win them over. Unfortunately he was less King of the Jungle and more "monkey see, monkey don't." • The third dance of the night saw Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy take on the roles of Romeo & Juliet for a Contemporary routine. The dance was gorgeous and the chemistry that Janel and Val have together could not be denied. The judges were swept away and awarded them the highest complimenet: a perfect score. • It was heating up in the ballroom as Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd took to the dance floor as Johnny and June Carter Cash for a red-hot Paso Doble. While they didn't light the place on fire, they certainly left the judges with some warm feelings. • Following up on a frustrating result from the judges after their performance on Halloween Night, Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas were hoping for a better reaction to their Contemporary routine as Adam & Eve. Their performance had the judges raving and throwing out some high scores. • Holy Cha Cha, Alfonso! Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson became the Batman & Robin of the ballroom, hoping to knock out their competition with some biff, bang, pow! So how did they do? They rocked Gotham City, old chum. • For the final regular routine of the night, Bethany Mota and Derek Hough took on the roles of Lucy and Ricky for a sizzling Salsa routine. Let's just say this Lucy would have no problems getting Ricky to take her to the club. • With the first round of dances over, Janel and Val won immunity thanks to their perfect score, leaving the remaining couples to face each other in a dance-off. First up, Alfonso and Witney chose to take on Lea and Artem in a Jive head-to-head. After a tough duel, all four judges chose Alfonso and Witney's performance, adding three points to their score for the night. • Next up, Sadie and Mark chose to face off against Bethany and Derek who chose the Cha Cha. It was so close that the judges were split right down the middle. In the case of a tie, it came down to the head judge himself, Len Goodman, who chose Bethany and Derek. • Closing out the night, Tommy and Peta danced against Michael and Emma in a Rumba. It was close once again, but Tommy and Peta came out the clear winners with all four judges' votes. • After another intense night of dancing, it was time to say goodbye to one of our couples. This week, it was time for Michael to take his last lap.
