Dancing with the Stars: Round Nine: Results Show

The big finale. And the judges are looking at tonight as a clean slate... it's anyone's to win!  During rehearsals, each team was visited by one of the judges for last minute pointers. Did they take the advise? First the pairs danced the dances they haven't yet performed. Kelly & Louis's Argentine Tango was beautiful and confident -- she really has had an incredible journey from the first episode. Next was Mya and Dmitry, doing a Paso Doble to Queen's We Will Rock You that brought the house down. Carrie Ann called Mya the Queen of the Paso Doble, and the judges agreed with a perfect 30. Donny and Kym's Cha Cha Cha was solid and got a 27. In the middle we got to see the "Megamix."  All three pairs danced the same choreography together to be judged against each other. They were rated in order, with Mya getting 1st Place, Donny 2nd, and Kelly 3rd. Finally, the Freestyle. The chance to shine as individuals.  Kelly had a couple of stumbles in hers, and Mya's was found to be a little disappointing by the judges.  But Donny and Kym stole the night with their high energy dance, earning them their best score of the season, a perfect 30!   The Scores Mya & Dmitry  (Paso Doble: 30) + (Megamix: 30) + (Freestyle: 27) = 87 Donny & Kym (Cha Cha Cha: 27) + (Megamix: 28) + (Freestyle: 30) = 85 Kelly & Louis (Argentine Tango: 26) + (Megamix: 26) + (Freestyle: 24) = 76     Comments from He Said/She Said (on Kelly's Argentine Tango): "She really HAS come a long way, hasn't she? I mean, that Brit has gotten AGILE. Impressive leg work, Fabulous grace. I'm a bit peeved that Bruno gave her an 8." -- Karl (on Mya's Freestyle): "Is that fair, Mya did fantastic and just because the judges expected more should she be penalized? In any case, they were pretty generous - total score of 27 (9-9-9). Not too shabby!!" -- Meg (on Donny's perfect-30 Freestyle): "Donny and Kym got all kinds o' Broadway in their Freestyle, and NAILED IT.
