Doug loans Roger his press pass so Roger can get into a movie screening. When the town paper publishes unkind remarks about Bluffington's citizens attributed to 'Weekly Beebe' reporter Doug Funnie, Doug has to decide which is worse: to admit that he loaned out his pass, or to let people think the quotes were his. Through a Quailman fantasy, Doug learns that a person is judged by their deeds, not words. With this in mind, he confesses to loaning out his press pass.
