Discover
The town is livid when Ingrid's brother, Jon, steals one of Olive's cows to help feed his starving family -- and Matthew feels responsible for suggesting the idea. Instead of taking pity on Jon, the town takes action to have him hanged. Michaela sees no other answer to restore order except to hire Kid Cole, who came to town to plant a few rose bushes and strum a tune on his guitar but is the one man who commands respect simply by his presence.
