Hate in America: The Klan on Trial

Veteran journalist Tony Harris investigates the stunning court cases that transformed the Southern Poverty Law Center into one of the most powerful forces against hate in America. Putting their own lives on the line, civil rights lawyer Morris Dees and his colleagues take on – and ultimately destroy – some of the most violent and dangerous white supremacist groups in US history. Battling against the odds, SPLC lawyers and investigators break new legal ground to outwit their adversaries and eventually win justice for the most innocent victims of brutal hate. The Klan on Trial will also dig deep into the past and present deeds of notorious white supremacist Glenn Miller, who most recently made headlines when he went on a shooting spree at a Kansas Jewish Community Center in April of 2014.
