They have a max budget of $600,000 which includes buying furniture and any renovations the place might need. Once they agree on a home, renovations begin straightaway, since Chris's parents are coming to visit in only 9 weeks. With a tight turnaround and rising costs, Chris & Erin struggle to finish extensive kitchen and basement updates in time for their guests.
