House Hunters Renovation: An Architect and a Preservationist Search for a Historic Home They Can Make Hip Again

Russian-born Yulia and her husband Mark have been living in his mom's basement for the first few years of their marriage and are ready to find a place of their own. While she wants the single-family Colonial home she saw in American movies as a kid in Russia, he wants a multi-family Craftsman that they can rent out to offset mortgage costs. Since they both have jobs maintaining the city's park system, they want a house with plenty of green space. Their agent Tim Riordan will have his hands full finding all that with their first-time buyers' budget but once they get the keys, Mark and Yulia will dive into renovation and may find themselves in over their heads.
