Los misterios de Laura is a Spanish television series that was broadcast in primetime on TVE's La 1 from 2009 to 2014. The show was first going to be named "Madres y detectives". It premiered on July 27, 2009 with huge success, surpassing the rival of the night CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The series mixes elements of shows like Murder, She Wrote, Columbo, and at the same time recovers elements of the mystery novels by Agatha Christie.
