Alexa is a band geek who wants to prove to everyone that she has a cooler side. Alexa wants to MADE into a rocker chick and win her school's Battle of the Bands competition. Alexa's MADE coach is Frank of the band, Waltham. Having opened for bands like KISS, Frank's definitely the guy to help Alexa win. First, he makes Alexa say, "I'm a bad a** rocker" repeatedly until it's convincing. Frank's next assignment to help Alexa come out of her shell proves to be more uncomfortable. She has to stand in front of the class and tell her classmates that she thinks they're fake. They respect her honestly. Later, Alexa writes a song but reluctantly reveals that the song is about an ex-boyfriend. Revealing this secret causes Alexa to break down and cry. Frank emphasizes that for a song to have impact, the songwriter has to reveal something. After putting together a band, Alexa meets her idol, singer Liz Phair. Liz likes the melody of Alexa's song, and advises her to make it really come to life. Newly inspired, Alexa plays the guitar and names her band, Fair Fight. Fair Fight comes in second place in the Battle of the Bands contest, but Alexa still feels like a star. She's been MADE into a rocker! 'Teenage Calamity' by Alexa A trainwreck a calamity Why does this feel so new to me? I could've sworn I've been here before Am I on the edge of something more? And I cant get up if you're pulling me down Once I'm down you're off and running You're running away There you go Now you're gone Don't try and tell me I'm the one that's wrong. Put me on a pedestal your goddess for an hour but you have all the power to tear me down Aftermath So sublime Flash a smile Yes I'm fine Lying again But what's it to you You don't listen enough To distinguish what's true So go and get your running start Keep us apart We're better that way Thank you For your betrayal and lies Thank you For avoiding my eyes I've been spent I've been used But it's nothing to you And I suppose it's nothing to me Just a day in the life of a teenage calamity Juat a day in the life Of a teenage calamity
