Marvel's Hero Project: Radiant Jayera

Jayera Griffin Day is an annual event for a close-knit suburb just outside of Chicago. It’s where a young woman has been working to level the playing field for those in her neighborhood who could use support in hard financial times. Her community service has been held as the benchmark of humanitarianism in her town. Everyone knows Jayera: the girl who fundraises for Free Wash Day, where neighbors can clean their clothes for free. The girl who holds pop-up “pay what you can” shops to spread opportunity a little more evenly across her town. Jayera has the unique ability to see the potential in everyone, and her work has made it possible for that potential to be reached. Now, Marvel recognizes her incredible work by making her a Super Hero, starring in her own comic. And more surprises await her, as she is welcomed into Marvel’s Hero Project.
