My First Sale: Paying to Sell a First Home

Shaison and Greg are eager to sell their starter home, so they can start construction on a new build to accommodate their growing family. But they need to make some creative deals with the builder and drop the price of their home twice before finally getting a buyer willing to pay their revised list price of $93,500. The couple is disheartened to learn they must bring more than $10,000 to closing. And it gets even more frustrating when the buyer asks to postpone the closing date because of credit problems!
