Professional Grade: Civil Servants Bar Bad Kitchen

Matt, a police officer, and Ryan, a firefighter, have been friends for years. Ryan's been wanting to remodel the dated and dilapidated kitchen of his investment property for a while, and he's ready to dig in with hopes of scoring some prize money. He has lots of experience with renovation, and has overseen the construction of two homes. Matt, on the other hand, only has limited remodeling experience, so he has to follow Ryan's lead - even when they disagree. Host Chris Grundy challenges them to do this renovation like the pros for a chance to win cash. Chris brings in guest judges to inspect the new space and estimate the cost of the renovation. If the expert estimate is more than what was actually spent on the project, Ryan and Matt win the difference in cold, hard cash!! Can these two friends and civil servants put aside their differences and extinguish this five-alarm kitchen?
