In this Franco-Italian gangster parody, Paris shop keeper Antoine Maréchal is on his way to an Italian holiday when he suffers a crash which totals his car. The culprit, Léopold Saroyan, compensates Antoine's ruined trip by loaning him a friends car to drive from Napels to Bordeaux but as the car happens to be filled with stolen money, jewelry, drugs, and a priceless diamond, hidden there by Saroyan, Antoine soon attracts all but recreational attention.
