Pokémon: Vanity Affair

With his eighth badge within reach, Ash works diligently to improve his Pokémon, but struggles to find suitably experienced opponents to face in battle. His friends grow concerned as Ash grows increasingly cocky. When they learn that Drake, a world class trainer and member of the Elite Four, is in the area, Ash sees a chance for another, more glorious, victory, while his fellow travelers hope for an experience that will return Ash to humility… and sanity. Our heroes board Drake’s ship, where Ash will face Drake in a “best of three” Pokémon match. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Team Rocket also takes their place amongst the ship’s passengers.
